I am 54 years old, married  36 yrs to a wonderful man and mother of two great children (daughter, 35, and son, 33) I recently gave up my job of 18 years to devote myself to all facets of homemaking (my favorite job!) and gardening. I just designed/installed new front and back landscaping and will start updating my home next year ( I am a do-it-yourself-er). 

I carry a book with me almost always. I started reading mysteries when I was 6 years old (Nancy Drew) and they are still my favorite.  I am a big fan of any suspense/thrillers involving forensics, espionage and history (e.g. Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta, Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown).  I love most things English and loved reading the classics when I was in school. Jane Austen is a big favorite of mine ( my favorite is Pride and Prejudice). I also love to read books about gardening, fitness, good eating, psychology, art, etc). I am a beginner watercolorist.
